Is amazed by my baby.

I find it crazy Tyson knows when we get to the tv room door that we play peak a boo with Daddy. Today I went to check on Caleb sleeping and he smiled and was looking for Daddy. He also sees a bottle now and goes nuts like he hasn't been feed in days. He is exploring his little world and loving it. I am really excited for all the first. The first time he goes to the zoo, feels the ocean, eats ice cream, and rides his bike. I love having a baby and I am really ready for the next. Just want to enjoy Tyson all by ourselves for a little longer!

Going out of Business

Toys R Us and Babys R Us are moving to Waterford. I was upset at first because it is very close to the house and I get my baby food there. But then I thought "Why not capitalize on this opportunity!" All toys and equipment has been discounted. I went to get a new toy for Tyson and then ended up with all of his Christmas gifts. I also found my Christmas gift. I wanted a double stroller for walks with Tyson and Caleb. I found this one for a great price and was very excited!!!! So we tried it out this morning. It is still to hot to use it.

The WORST Vacation Ever.

The vacation started out great. The roads where not busy and the hotel we got was nice for the price we paid for.  Saturday we went to go see Grandma and then hung out at the farm.  Sunday we went to his parents church and Rebekah's family came over to hang out for the day.  The Cousins had a great time playing together.  Monday we had John and Annie come over for lunch.  It was a great lunch with surf and turf.  The stayed and visited for about 3 hours before returning home.  That is when it all went down hill.  Chad started to get really sick around 4.  By 9 pm he was white as a sheet and couldn't keep water down. We decided to go to the ER.  It turned out to be a 24 hour virus.  At 5 am I started with it.  I was sick till midnight the next night. So we just laid around the house for 3 days till we started to feel better.  At that time Tyson decided that he would start teething.  From Wednesday till today he has still not sleep more than 3 hours at a time.  He has also had a bad diaper rash.  He is not a very happy little guy right now. Then we decided on Thursday that we would go see Grandma one more time before we left on Friday.  Friday morning came around and both his parents had the virus.  So we decided to get int he car at 7 am and just drive home Friday morning without seeing Grandma.  It was a sad vacation over all.

My New Car

So last Saturday we traded in the Acadia.  It was a sad day for me because I really loved my SUV.  Someone reminded me that it was just a car!  I am excited to know that we will not be strapped for cash now that our car payment is not as much as my brothers mortgage!!!!  I am very happy with what we ended up with.  It is fully loaded with black leather interior.  It has a port I can plug my IPad into and I can talk with bluetooth threw the radio.  It also has the key that starts the car, unlocks the car, and cools of the car with out the key being in the ignition!  It is really sweat!!

Family Day

We went to the Downtown BBQ Cook-off  on Saturday.   It was at the Lutheran Church downtown.  We got 23 samples of pulled pork.  Each was in a little cup with a number on the bottom for voting purposes.  It also came with a side of baked beans and coleslaw. We ate each cup together and then judged it with the one prior.  Number three was in the lead till we got to number nineteen.  That ended up being the one that we both picked for the winner. Then we headed up to my parents house to relax and watch some racing.  Mom cooked  baked potatoes and we also had steak that Dad fixed on the grill.  It was a very excellent day.  Then we walked outside to go home and found this!!!!!

Meet Caleb

I started a nanny job this week.  His name is Caleb and he is 10 months old. I will watch him 2 1/2 days a week. He is a very sweet boy and Tyson really seems to like him.  We will see as the time goes by! This is just some pictures of our first week together.

Tyson is seven months!

 So yesterday was Tyson's 7 month birthday.  He is crawling around the house now.  He likes to push open the TV room door and crawl to the kitchen. He chased me down the hall also.  He is a busy little guy now. He is also starting to pull himself up.  The last picture shows that.
